Sample rewrites, written to show the idea. Yours will follow your own style notes.
Two copies. One paste.
No window to open, no text to retype. The gesture you already make is the whole app.
-
Copy it twice
Select what you wrote, in any app, and press ⌘C twice quickly. A single copy stays a normal copy.
-
Watch the subtitle
A second later a subtitle by your cursor shows what you wrote and the native version underneath.

Questions
Which apps does it work in?
Any app where you can copy text: browsers, X, Slack, Mail, Telegram, Notes, and the rest. VibeClip listens for the copy, not for a specific app. You can limit it to the apps you pick in Settings.
Which AI does it use?
The one you pick: Claude by Anthropic, ChatGPT by OpenAI or Gemini by Google. You create an API key with that company and paste it into VibeClip once. It is stored in your Mac's Keychain.
How much will the AI cost me?
By default VibeClip uses each company's fastest, least expensive model: Claude Haiku 5.5, GPT-6 Luna or Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite. A typical rewrite of a post or a message costs a fraction of a cent, billed to your own account. Google's free tier for Gemini covers light use.
What gets sent, and when?
Nothing happens on a single copy. Only when you press ⌘C twice does that text go to the AI company you picked, with your key, along with your style notes and writing examples. Your history stays in memory on your Mac and is gone when you quit. See the privacy page.
What if I don't like a rewrite?
Your original is never lost. Press ⌥⌘Z in the VibeClip menu to put it back on the clipboard, or pick any of the last ten pairs from the menu bar.
How do updates work?
VibeClip checks for new versions once a day. When one is out, a small chip shows up in the menu bar panel; click it to see what's new and install. Nothing pops up while you write.
Lost your download?
Open polar.sh/poordevs/portal and sign in with the email you bought with. Your purchase and the latest VibeClip download are there, free, as often as you need.
Which languages does it work with?
Nearly 90, both ways. Pick the language you write in and the one you want back: Russian to English, English to Spanish, German to German. Text in any language comes back in the one you picked, as a native speaker would put it. The big languages work best; for rarer ones it depends on the AI you use.
Which Mac do I need?
Any Mac running macOS 26 or later.
